LadybugApp was born from a personal journey. My name is Laszlo Orosz — a chef, a father, and the husband of a woman whose early experience with peri-menopause changed the course of both our lives.

In 2018, after the birth of our son, my wife Natalie began facing sudden and unexplained changes in her body and mood. Two years of confusion, medical appointments, and misdirection led to a diagnosis: premature ovarian insufficiency and early peri-menopause. At just 35, she found herself navigating a phase of life most women don’t expect until much later — and with very little clear guidance.

As a chef with a deep respect for whole, nourishing food, I watched her fight to piece together fragmented information — conflicting articles, vague medical advice, and endless nutrition claims. Together, we searched for answers. How much calcium is safe? Where can I find clean omega-3? What’s the real value of flaxseed? The overload was constant. So I decided to build something that could help.

LadybugApp is more than a nutrients tracker. It’s a companion — built to support women through the transitions of menopause and beyond. It offers clarity on essential nutrients, celebrates small victories, and brings peace to daily choices. Our work doesn’t stop at the screen. In 2022, Natalie and I hosted our first Women's Health Yoga Retreat in Croatia — a space where she guides others through yoga and meditation, and I create meals designed specifically for menopausal wellness. LadybugApp reflects this same mission: practical support, rooted in care and community.

We believe that nature provides what we need. That real food matters. And that every woman deserves to feel strong, informed, and seen.
