Meet the Chef

From kitchen to code — a journey of nourishment and purpose.

Chef Laszlo Orosz

Hi, I’m Laszlo Orosz — chef, husband to Natalie, and the person behind the food inside Ladybug.

I’ve spent over two decades working in European kitchens, cooking for restaurants, retreats, and private groups. But nothing shaped my work more than supporting my wife through early menopause.

Natalie was eating well, staying active, and doing everything she was told — and still felt tired, foggy, and disconnected from her body. As a chef, I didn’t want to give her rules or restrictions. I wanted to understand what her body actually needed, and how real food could support that.

That search led me deep into nutrient science — protein, fibre, calcium, magnesium, omega-3, vitamin D — and how hormonal change affects how women absorb and use them. What I learned changed how I cooked for her. Not dramatically. Just intentionally.

Over time, her energy steadied. Her strength returned. Food stopped feeling like another problem to solve.

Alongside this work, I’ve cooked professionally across Europe — including running my own restaurant in Tenerife, working in Michelin-mentioned kitchens in Ireland, and later being invited to cook for chefs, journalists, and ambassadors through organisations such as Bord Bia and the Irish-Hungarian Business Circle.

Since 2022, Natalie and I have hosted sold-out women’s yoga retreats in Croatia and Tenerife. I cook every meal — building nourishment quietly into food that feels generous, comforting, and real. The high return rate tells us one thing clearly: women aren’t looking for extremes. They’re looking for support.

Ladybug grew out of that same place. It’s not about control or perfection. It’s about giving women the information and food they need — without turning eating into another job.

My role is simple: to support Natalie’s voice with food that works, and to help make nourishment feel steady, calm, and doable — one meal at a time.
